STAGED READING: Organized a reading of Burn This ; I played Anna, a role I've always wanted to do. Serindipidously, found out The Taper had it in their line up later in the month, so got myself there! What a different flavor of this cast. Relished in the comedy of Brooks Ashmanskas; keeping my eye on Adam Rothenberg.
WENT TO SEE: An evening of Peter Brook at the Broad Stage: The Grand Inquisitor and five Samuel Beckett one acts. Love Beckett! I'd done an adaptation of Act Without Words I in college--inspired seeing the Act Without Words II previously only read. Entranced with Rockaby as Hayley Carmichael transformed infront of my eyes.
Saw my first Alvin Ailey show! "All Ailey" program.
